General information


The International Conference "Nonlinear Waves: Theory and Experiment", to be held
on 15 - 18 January 2008 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is dedicated to the 60th birthday of
Fatkhulla ABDULLAEV.

Scope

The topics of the conference will cover broad aspects of nonlinear wave phenomena in optical media, metamaterials and Bose-Einstein condensates.

    • Registration fee

    Conference registration fee of 150 USD for Western participants and 50 USD for CIS participants will cover usual items (a conference set, coffee breaks, lunches) and social program. Financial support toward attending the conference is currently unavailable.

    Abstract Submission

    Please use the following format for the abstract: Word or LaTeX file, length is one A4 page or less, single space, 11pt Times New Roman font. Here are   Word template and LaTex template of the abstract, and an instruction in   PDF-format.   Please indicate a preferable type of the presentation (oral, poster).

    Visas

    Foreign delegates should be in possession of visas granted by the Uzbek Embassies or Consulates abroad. The invitation letter for visa application will be sent to all registered delegates.

    Foreign exchange

    Currency exchange boots are available at Tashkent Airport, Hotels, Markets and city Banks.

    Proceedings

    Information about publication of Proceedings of the Conference will be posted later.
